A 37-year-old patient underwent delayed breast reconstruction with placement of a tissue expander by Dr. Utku Dolen. In the second stage of reconstruction, Dr. Dolen performed tissue expander to implant exchange with placement of a 400 cc high-profile silicone implant.Liposuction of the abdomen was also performed to harvest fat for grafting to the breasts to enhance contour and symmetry. A total of 90 cc of fat was injected into the left breast and 75 cc into the right breast. The postoperative photographs were taken one year after surgery and show well-healed incisions with a balanced breast shape and improved symmetry.
