Breast Reconstruction Case #8600
Before
After

A 55-year-old patient underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomy followed by immediate breast reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders by Dr. Utku Dolen. In the second stage of reconstruction, the tissue expanders were exchanged for permanent implants. Liposuction of the abdomen was performed to harvest fat, which was then grafted to the breasts to improve contour and symmetry. The patient received 560 cc high-profile silicone implants. Fat grafting included 90 cc to the left breast and 80 cc to the right breast. The postoperative photographs were taken five months after surgery and demonstrate well-healed incisions with a natural breast contour and improved symmetry.
