Implant Exchange Case #1539
Before
After

56-year-old female patient with a history of left mastectomy in 2002 followed by implant-based reconstruction, presenting with a ruptured right implant. She underwent bilateral implant exchange with removal of the ruptured right implant and the intact left implant, followed by placement of a 450cc full-projection silicone implant on the left and a 200cc low-projection silicone implant on the right. A thoracoabdominal flap was also performed to release tightness at the left inframammary fold and facilitate tension-free closure, all performed by Dr. Dolen. Postoperative photographs are shown 3 months after surgery, demonstrating improved breast contour, volume, and symmetry
