In the same surgery, our breast surgeon performed a left lumpectomy, and Dr. Dolen performed an oncoplastic breast reduction.To restore the breast shape, Dr. Dolen filled the lumpectomy defect using an adipofascial flap and also performed a left breast reduction.
He then performed a right breast reduction during the same operation to achieve symmetry.📷 These photos are 5 months after surgery—she’s healed beautifully.💖She is very happy with her results. 🌟 Septorhinoplasty 🌟This resilient 30-year-old woman came to us after surviving a devastating car accident in Venezuela 10 years ago.
She had undergone multiple successful facial reconstructive surgeries, but her nose remained both a functional and emotional struggle.A bone graft used in her nasal reconstruction had partially resorbed, and a screw began eroding through her skin. She couldn’t breathe well due to a severely deviated septum and collapsed internal nasal valve.Through open rhinoplasty, Dr. Dolen rebuilt her nasal dorsum, septum, and upper lateral cartilages (internal nasal valve) with cartilage grafts.✨ When her splint was removed, words couldn’t describe her happiness as she looked at her new nose.
She added:
